The Caravan Show 2005 at Cottingham, Hull was a busy time for Booking-iT. This was our first time as a company we have exhibited at Cottingham. We were a little unsure what to expect but we had many caravan park owners and operators visiting our stand and we were able to give demonstrations to those that were interested.

We devised a complicated scenario to demonstrate out reservation and site management software, to stress how easy the software dealt with the problems. Many stated how impressed they were comparing it with their present system, particularly with how easily the finances automatically did the calculations and made the appropriate charges.
Our stand certainly generated a lot of interest. From the subsequent enquiries successful sales have followed and many are planning to install the software for next season.
As a result of discussing our pricing with our customers, we have given consideration to re-structuring the software, which will make the it more versatile. Customers can now choose which modules they want and tailor the package to suit their particular caravan park. This system will also allow park owners to add modules to their software as their park develops.
A further development arising from the exhibition was the interest in linking a barrier system direct to our Book-a-Pitch ™ software. As a result we are currently in negotiations with a number of suppliers, who are specialists in the supply of security barriers. The result is for information stored in our customers & bookings database to be linked with the barrier card that operates the access barrier to the caravan park.
Booking-iT is forever looking into the future, planning where we see Book-a-Pitch ™ heading. In view of this we have devised a 'Roadmap' showing how we see the software developing in the near future.

MAJOR NEW CLIENT CHOOSES BOOK-A-PITCH.
Holiday Break PLC, one of the largest camping holiday operators in Europe, places an order with Booking-IT for their very own copy of the BOOK-A-PITCH reservation software.
Holiday Break, who include Eurocamp and Keycamp have 1000's of pitches across 300 sites throughout Europe. They have, for some time, been looking for pitch reservation software that would meet their requirements. After demonstrating our Book-A-Pitch software, they were keen to work with us to develop the product.
