Drag & Drop
If you ever need to rearrange booking placements to make the best use of your available pitches, then you will love the drag and drop facility. Just click on a booking and drag it to the pitch you want it to be on and it’s done. All the related booking records are automatically updated. To swap two or more bookings simply drop the booking you are dragging on top of the booking/s you want to swap it with. Naturally, the system will only let you swap bookings if there is sufficient room on the 'to' and 'from' pitches.
Comprehensive Pitch Filtering System
This allows you to see just the selection of pitches you are interested in, hiding the clutter. You can drill down to facility level to place customers exactly matching their needs; e.g. 'Near WC'.
Comprehensive Booking & Customer Search Facilities
There is nothing more annoying than trying to track down a customer or a booking with minimal information. Our comprehensive search facilities for both customers and bookings make finding these so easy, even with the minimum of information.
Automatic Software Updates
Keep up to date with the latest features and tweaks without having to jump through hoops. Book-A-Pitch can be configured to automatically download and install the latest versions of the software, as and when they become available.
New Booking & Customer Wizard
Rather than facing a large page full of details and having to remember exactly where each piece of information needs to be entered, the wizard takes you through each important information entry point, step by step.
Moreover, if there are certain pieces of information you don't normally enter, the wizard can be configured to omit those pages. This makes the process of entering new bookings and customers onto the system very quick and highly intuitive.
Events
Events, such as public holidays or local functions – fetes, galas, fairs, shows, etc. – are listed in one of the tabs in the information pane to the right. There is also a row at the top of the diary which indicates the number of events occurring on any given day. Hover the mouse pointer over the number to see a list of events. Public holidays are automatically added to the system and defining your own is a very simple procedure.
